GEORGE CLOONEY - CLOONEY'S BATSUIT FOR SALE

GEORGE CLOONEY's BATMAN costume from the 1997 box office flop BATMAN AND ROBIN is expected to reach $100,000 (GBP57,000) at auction.

The suit comes with an enviable list of extras - including nipples, the famous cape, a cowl, gloves, a handy utility belt, and of course, the bat ears.

JOE MADDALENA of auction house Profiles in History plans to sell off the outfit at the end of March (06) alongside a collection of other movie memorabilia - and although Clooney's film was a disaster, Maddalena has high hopes for the Batsuit.

He says, "Clooney is hot. He is the leader of an unofficial Rat Pack. People have fallen in love with him. He is the bad boy we always love. The nominations also help."
