GEORGE CLOONEY - CLOONEY: 'I'M NOT AGAINST KIDS'

Hollywood lothario GEORGE CLOONEY has hinted he may finally be ready to embrace fatherhood.

Since divorcing actress TALIA BALSAM in 1992, the suave star has been linked with a string of women, including RENEE ZELLWEGER and British model LISA SNOWDON.

But the 43-year-old has always resisted the idea of remarrying and having children - actress pals MICHELLE PFEIFFER and NICOLE KIDMAN even lost a $20,000 (GBP11,111) bet he would become a father before he turned 40.

But single Clooney may be mellowing with age.

He says, "I'm not as against the idea of having a child as people think."

Meanwhile, Clooney is convinced he has no secret love children - because he's sure he would have been handed an alimony bill by now.

He jokes, "I am sure I'm not a father because if I was, given my notoriety and the way things happen in the US, I would have been informed by a number of lawyers."
