GEORGE CLOONEY - CLOONEY: 'I SLEPT MY WAY TO THE TOP'

Actor GEORGE CLOONEY has confessed the secret to his success in Hollywood - he "slept his way to the top".

The Tinseltown heart-throb found fame late - before he landed a role in TV hit ER at the age of 33, Clooney was an unknown and had only made a few screen appearances.

But in the last ten years Clooney has become one of the biggest names in Hollywood after landing roles in BATMAN + ROBIN, THREE KINGS and OCEAN'S ELEVEN.

And the actor jokes it's all because he was prepared to sleep with the right people.

Clooney laughs, "Most of the time I did it with old and ugly female studio bosses.

"It does have it's advantages: the old dears go to bed early. And as I go to sleep quite late, this activity usually leaves me loads of free time."
