GEORGE CLOONEY's latest TV project upset America's leading politicians when he arrived in Washington with a film crew and started shooting footage.
The movie hunk and production partner STEVEN SODERBERGH are the brains behind new documentary/drama series K STREET, which features actors and real politicians dealing with matters of state.
But the show got off to a bad start when Clooney failed to get permission to shoot on Capitol Hill in Washington, where America's biggest political decisions are made.
Clooney says, "We hadn't really talked to anyone and we were just walking into the Capitol with cameras. We didn't really know anything. People stopped us and told us we just couldn't shoot there."
Clooney and his film crew were subsequently kicked out when the Select Committee on Ethics and the Committee on Rules and Administration passed a motion that "use of the Senate and Capitol space for filming K Street is strictly prohibited".
