GEORGE CLOONEY - CLOONEY SNUBS OSCAR PARTIES FOR EX ALLEN

Oscar-winner GEORGE CLOONEY snubbed the Academy Awards afterparties on Sunday night (05MAR06), to party with his celebrity pals and ex-girlfriend KRISTA ALLEN. The handsome star was named Best Supporting Actor for his performance in SYRIANA, and invited fellow Oscar winner RACHEL WEISZ, her fiance DARREN ARONOFSKY, MADONNA and her husband GUY RITCHIE, NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN and her singer beau MICHAEL BOLTON to celebrate with him at Italian restaurant Dan Tana's. Clooney and Allen were first linked in 2002 and were forced to deny pregnancy reports in January 2004. Following the 44-year-old actor's split from English model LISA SNOWDON last year (05), Clooney was linked to Allen again. Instead of partying at the Vanity Fair, SIR ELTON JOHN and Governor's Ball bashes, Clooney and Allen arrived at Dan Tana's together, with the actor insisting he wanted to celebrate with his close friends. He said, "I'm to meet my buddies. They're there with their wives and I get to walk in with an Oscar. That's the fun of it. "And calling up the old man and my mom. That's going to be fun."
