GEORGE CLOONEY has rubbished rumours he's planning a cameo in DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - insisting he'd only consider it if his career nosedived.
Reports emerged after the actor was romantically linked with housewife TERI HATCHER, but Clooney has since dismissed any talk of a relationship with Hatcher, or plans to join her on the award-winning show.
He snipes, "I'm joining that show? Well, if my films flop, I may have to."
