GEORGE CLOONEY - CLOONEY RELISHING ROLE BEHIND THE CAMERA

Hollywood star GEORGE CLOONEY is looking forward to a new challenge - making the transition from acting to producing and directing movies.

The OCEAN'S TWELVE star isn't yet ready to abandon his acting career, but has vowed to step behind the camera when he feels he's produced his best work as an actor.

The 43-year-old says, "What I enjoy about getting involved in producing and directing is that it's another way of enjoying the film-making process. Acting is just one element of a huge machine that makes a film work.

"So, in the future I definitely want to be more involved as a film-maker, especially when I think I've done my best work as an actor and feel that it's time to be behind the camera more."
