GEORGE CLOONEY - CLOONEY REJECTS FAN'S SCOOTER GIFT

Hollywood heart-throb GEORGE CLOONEY turned down the gift of a red scooter sent to him by an adoring Italian fan.

RITA BELLACOSA, 33, sent the OCEAN'S TWELVE hunk the $5,400 (GBP3,000) bike with a ribbon attached and a note on the windscreen - but Clooney's staff at his villa in Lake Como sent it straight back to the dealer.

They say, "He never accepts presents from strangers, especially such bizarre ones."

A spokesperson for the scooter firm says, "A Rome client paid us to deliver it and we did. Now the machine is hers, I suppose, although there's no answer at home."
