OCEAN'S ELEVEN star GEORGE CLOONEY is refusing to pay attention to the Oscar buzz surrounding his role in SYRIANA, because he insists he doesn't "know anything" about the prestigious awards ceremony.

Clooney plays real-life CIA operative BOB BARNES in the thriller, and his portrayal has won the acclaim of film critics, prompting expectations that the actor could be well on the road to picking up his first ever Academy Award nomination.

He says, "I've never been to the Oscars and I don't know anything about them. Even talking about it to me doesn't really make sense because I don't expect anything."
