GEORGE CLOONEY - CLOONEY HATES AMERICAN BIGOTRY

Hunky GEORGE CLOONEY has slammed his native America as a land of bigots in a fiery magazine interview.

The movie star has told a French magazine he's sick of the bigotry in America that prevents people with a chequered past from making changes.

He spits, "You have to stand by what you've done: 'Yes, I smoked grass. Yes, I had sex with more than one person.'

"In the US, they make a big deal out of everything as soon as you run for higher office. It's time we did away with this bigotry in America."

In an outspoken blast, Clooney also attacked ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER's new California Governor role and the war on Iraq, calling it "the dumbest thing that my country could have done".
