GEORGE CLOONEY - CLOONEY ENJOYS HIS ITALIAN GETAWAY AT LAST

Hollywood hunk GEORGE CLOONEY is enjoying the spoils of success at last after taking a break at the Italian mansion he bought last year (02).

The actor shipped family members and friends, including OSCAR winner ADRIEN BRODY, to Laglio last month (MAY03) to show off the home he's bought on the shores of Lake Como.

Clooney joked at Christmas (02) that he feared he'd never be able to find time to holiday at the 18th century home he bought for $10 million (GBP6.6 million).

He says, "The food is great, the architecture is beautiful, and the people are lovely. And they sleep for two hours at lunch. It's perfect."
