CATHERINE ZETA JONES - CLOONEY DISAPPOINTS ZETA-JONES

OSCAR-winning actress CATHERINE ZETA-JONES was deeply upset when she filmed INTOLERABLE CRUELTY with GEORGE CLOONEY - because he refused to play pranks on her.

The CHICAGO beauty had long heard about Clooney's prankster antics on movie sets, so she was looking forward to falling victim to some of his practical jokes herself - but it wasn't to be.

She says, "He is the biggest prankster and you know what? He didn't play one on me and I was depressed. I thought he didn't wanna be my friend like, 'You can't play in my gang' I was like, 'Please do a prank on me!'

"But we had a lot of laughs. It was hard to keep a straight face."
