GEORGE CLOONEY - CLOONEY CREATES POLITICAL DRAMA

GEORGE CLOONEY is fast becoming one of the most powerful players in entertainment - HBO have bought his idea for a political drama.

The show K STREET was the brainchild of Clooney and SECTION EIGHT production company partner STEVEN SODERBERGH - and will look at the inhabitants of K Street, Washington DC, where political consultants have their offices.

Producers at HBO are so convinced it will be a big hit that they have commissioned ten episodes without filming a pilot. Reports suggest that political big hitters are being approached to give their advice about how to keep the show accurate.
