Hollywood hunk GEORGE CLOONEY has written a letter of apology to over 400 hundred of his neighbours in the Italian village of Laglio for the chaos incurred during the filming of OCEANS TWELVE.
Scenes for the sequel movie were shot at the INTOLERABLE CRUELTY star's $12.6 million (GBP7 million) Lake Como villa causing streets in the village to be closed and hundreds of fans to swamp the area.
In the letter, which was written in English along with an Italian translation, the 43-year-old wrote, "I am writing this letter to say thank you for accepting me into your community. I'm sorry for the inconvenience that I have brought."
Laglio's Mayor, GIUSEPPE MANTERO, responded, "Mr Clooney has shown what an honourable man he is."
