Unlucky in love GEORGE CLOONEY 'married' a gorgeous Italian TV presenter at a press conference in Venice yesterday (3SEP03).

The OCEAN'S 11 hunk arrived to promote new flick INTOLERABLE CRUELTY with sexy co-star CATHERINE ZETA-JONES, but before he could settle down to answer reporters's questions, CANAL 5 host VICTORIA CABELLO, 28, slipped on a veil and presented the startled actor with a wedding ring.

Plucky Victoria then said, "I've stalked you before, but now that you have moved to Lake Como you are stalking me and I think we should get married.

"I have a priest with me, just say I do in Italian and we can swap rings."

And fun-loving George joined in the high jinks and planted a kiss on her cheek as confetti fell all over the couple.

After security had moved Victoria on, a male journalist stood up only for the quick-witted star to quip, "No, I won't marry you too."
