AMERICAN IDOL winner KELLY CLARKSON will never run out of fiery ideas for songs - she has been keeping a journal of angry rants since she was seven.
The singer started scribbling her thoughts down as a way of dealing with her childhood temper tantrums, and now she has books full of hard-hitting poetry and angry prose.
She says, "I used to be a troubled child and writing things down used to be an outlet when I was little. I used to have a bad temper when I was little.
"My mom and my teachers used to say, 'Why don't find some outlet?' So since then, I've been writing, and it just happens to be in the form of songs. That's what I do. It's actually like kind of a stress-relaxant thing."
