KELLY CLARKSON - CLARKSON TOO BUSY FOR LOVE

American singer KELLY CLARKSON is so devoted to her work, she refuses to let men into her life.

The Texan MISS INDEPENDENT diva, who worked as a waitress before winning the AMERICAN IDOL TV talent show and having a top-selling album, admits she has no time for love - and even if she did, most men aren't worth it.

She says, "I'm from a small town and nearly all my pals are married to their high-school sweethearts, but I never had one cause I was always working.

"I'm the most focused female ever. I'm never looking for men. I'm always thinking about work. I'm only 21 so it's okay not to be dating right now. I want a chance to figure out who I am before I have to go figure out who someone else is.

"I like older guys because they're the ones who have caught up with my intellectual capacity. Younger guys are only ever interested in one thing. I don't think guys ever get over their adolescent stage, not ever!"
