KELLY CLARKSON - CLARKSON AMUSED BY MARRIAGE REPORTS

Pop star KELLY CLARKSON is amazed so many fans believe she is married to her fellow AMERICAN IDOL contestant JUSTIN GUARINI.

Clarkson beat Guarini, 27, to win the first ever American Idol in 2002 and they co-starred in the 2003 flop movie FROM JUSTIN TO KELLY: WITH LOVE.

The MISS INDEPENDENT singer admits she is often reading completely fabricated reports about her.

She says, "I haven't ever read anything nasty, but I've been married, I've been on steroids supposedly.

"(Apparently I married) Justin, the runner up on American Idol. Yeah, so people have done all these things to talk about me so it must be fun to go to work and make up stuff all day."
