CIARA - CIARA HEADS VIBE AWARDS NOMINATIONS

R+B beauty CIARA leads the nominations for next month's (NOV05) Vibe Awards with five - beating off competition from MARIAH CAREY, 50 CENT, JOHN LEGEND and KANYE WEST who have four nods each.

The nominations for Album Of The Year are Kanye West's LATE REGISTRATION, THE DOCUMENTARY by THE GAME, John Legend's GET LIFTED, THE EMANCIPATION OF MIMI by Mariah Carey and LIL' KIM's THE NAKED TRUTH.

Lil' Kim won't be able to attend the ceremony in Los Angeles on 12 November (05) because she is currently serving a 366-day prison sentence for lying to a grand jury.

The nominees for Best Rapper are 50 Cent, Kanye West, LUDACRIS, The Game and T.I.

Organisers hope this year's event will be trouble-free after DR DRE was punched in the face by JIMMY JAMES JOHNSON, who was then stabbed in a brawl, allegedly by G-UNIT member YOUNG BUCK at last year's (04) bash.
