CIARA - CIARA HALTS PRESLEY'S CHART DOMINION

R+B beauty CIARA has stopped rock 'n' roll legend ELVIS PRESLEY from getting a record third number one UK single in three weeks.

Ciara's ballad GOODIES, which features rapper PETEY PABLO, shot to the top of the charts, while the re-release of the late rocker's 1959 hit A FOOL SUCH AS I dropped to second place.

But Presley is expected to feature prominently in the charts this year (05) because all 18 of Presley's UK chart-toppers are being re-released to mark what would have been his 70th year.

The CHEMICAL BROTHERS' popular track GALVANIZE entered the charts at number three, followed by new entries ATHLETE with WIRE and TUMBLE AND FALL by FEEDER.
