CHRISSIE HYNDE - CHRISSIE HYNDE: I DON'T LIKE NON-VEGGIES

Veteran rocker CHRISSIE HYNDE only makes friends with fellow vegetarians - although it can be difficult to avoid meat-eaters.

The PRETENDERS singer - who was recently arrested and fined after a protest against KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN in Paris - even claims to dislike "being in association with meat-eaters".

And 51-year-old Chrissie is unrepentant about her Paris behaviour, saying she will continue to protest for animal rights.

She says, "I don't think I'm a militant, but if stopping the traffic and bashing on windows is militant, then maybe I am."
