CHRISSIE HYNDE - CHRISSIE HYNDE PLANS MARCH MOVE TO BRAZIL

Veteran rocker CHRISSIE HYNDE is planning to move to Brazil in March (04), in another bid to find somewhere she can call home.

The former PRETENDER wants to escape her adopted hometown of London because she feels increasingly alienated there.

And the 52-year-old doesn't feel comfortable in Ohio, America - where she was born - either.

She says, "I feel out of place everywhere. My parents still live in Ohio, where I was brought up, but people don't like me in the States.

"I'm too trappy, too gabby and not patriotic enough. I know I can be very tricky because I really don't care what people think of me, so I'll say just about anything. That makes me a liability.

"Whenever I go to a party I think I have this sign above my head saying, 'Who invited her?' I hate dinner parties. I like being on my own.

"I hate meat-eaters and atheists and intellectual agnostics. They all make me sick. I am so bored of being around stupid people."
