COLDPLAY - CHRIS TAKES IT SLOW

COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN won't be rushed into proposing to GWYNETH PALTROW - even though the OSCAR winning actress is desperate to get married.

The couple have been the subject of intense speculation about their marital status, with some reports suggesting they were already engaged.

But according to a friend of the singer, he is taking things slowly with the SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE star.

The friend tells British magazine CLOSER, "Chris thought moving in together would show her how much he loves her but Gwyneth wants to get married as soon as possible.

"Chris wants to be with her for life but he's happy the way things are going."
