COLDPLAY - CHRIS MARTIN: I LOVE BEING MARRIED TO GWYNETH

Usually reticent COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN has spoken of his joy at being married to Hollywood actress GWYNETH PALTROW.

THE SCIENTIST singer got married secretly to the SYLVIA actress earlier this month (DEC03), after announcing the news they were expecting their first child together, and Chris can't believe his luck.

He says, "I love being married.

"It was great because we got married without any fuss. I'd have eloped even if I wasn't famous and ran a shop.

"Sometimes I think I'm like the HUGH GRANT character from NOTTING HILL, who runs the bookshop. Just an ordinary guy that has extraordinary things happen to him.

"It's been an amazing year for me. But it's all been a bit mad with the media interest in us. We're just normal people who want a normal life.

"But don't get me wrong. I love the thought of having babies and I love being married."
