CHRIS MARTIN - CHRIS MARTIN GIVES AWAY SONG TO PAL

COLPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN gave away a new song to chart rivals EMBRACE, because he thought it suited them better.

Embrace frontman DANNY McNAMARA was stunned and thrilled when Martin called him personally to offer him GRAVITY.

He explains, "He played me Gravity over the phone and I thought it was absolutely beautiful. He loved it, but he thought it sounded a bit like Embrace so he asked me if we wanted to use it.

"Chris is like one of my best friends. I love him like a brother. Coldplay are a fantastic band. It gives me faith in humanity that there are loads of people out there with the same taste in music as me."
