COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN feels "frightened" in his native country of England.
The CLOCKS hitmaker has enjoyed a stellar year with his group, and is stepping out with Hollywood star GWYNETH PALTROW - but feels that a backlash against his success is brewing in the UK.
Chris says, "I'm petrified - it's so frightening being in England.
"I feel that everyone hates us at the moment."
