ZACH BRAFF - CHICKEN LITTLE STILL TOP OF US BOX OFFICE

Disney's movie adaptation of the CHICKEN LICKEN fable tops the US box office for a second week after taking $32 million (GBP17.8 million).

The animated film, which features the voices of ZACH BRAFF and JOAN CUSACK, has easily seen off competition from children's sci-fi adventure ZATHURA, which grossed $14 million (GBP7.8 million) during its first weekend on release.

The JENNIFER ANISTON and CLIVE OWEN thriller DERAILED - the first movie the former FRIENDS star has made since the hit comedy show came to a close - enters the box office chart in third place with takings of $12.8 million (GBP7.1 million).

Hip-hop star 50 CENT's first foray into cinema, GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN', charts at number four with $12.5 million (GBP7 million), despite being screened in significantly fewer cinemas than its rivals.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL and JAMIE FOXX's Gulf War drama JARHEAD completes the top five with earnings of $12.3 million (GBP6.8 million).
