THE CHI-LITES' OH GIRL, HANK WILLIAMS' I'M SO LONESOME I COULD CRY and EV'RY TIME WE SAY GOODBYE by ELLA FITZGERALD have been named The Most Miserable Songs of All Time in a new survey.

Editors at Britain's MOJO magazine have come up with 20 depressing tunes for each of five categories - Sad Soul, Lonesome Country, Pop Agony, Whinger-songwriters and Indie Misery.

Here's the top three in each section:

SAD SOUL
