DUMB AND DUMBER - CHARLES ROCKET COMMITS SUICIDE

DUMB AND DUMBER star CHARLES ROCKET committed suicide last week. He was 56.

Connecticut police confirmed the actor/comedian was found dead close to his home on 7 October (05) after slashing his own throat.

Connecticut State Police Sergeant J PAUL VANCE says, "There was no criminal aspect to this case. The post-mortem showed he had committed suicide by cutting his throat with a knife."

Rocket was a regular castmember on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE in the early 1980s, until he was fired following a profanity-laden parody of DALLAS' famous 'Who Shot JR?' episode.

The actor is survived by his wife BETH and son ZANE.
