BEN CHAPLIN - CHAPLIN SNUBS SUPERMODEL'S ADVANCES

Actor BEN CHAPLIN snubbed the advances of sexy model CATALINA GUIRADO at the premiere of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL - after she spent nearly an hour trying to get the star's phone number.

The leggy blonde - who appeared on Britain's celebrity Reality TV show I'M A CELEBRITY, GET ME OUT OF HERE! this summer (03) - pursued the BIRTHDAY GIRL actor at Monday's (14JUL03) star-studded after-show event in London, before asking him to leave with her.

However, Chaplin wasn't impressed by her flirty tactics, and shunned her amorous advances.

An onlooker tells Britain's DAILY MIRROR tabloid, "It was quite funny. She was all over him like a rash. A woman as beautiful as Catalina should not have to try so hard to get a man, but Ben just didn't want to know.

"As she was leaving around 1.30am, she saw him again and tried to get him to leave with her and her friend, but Ben looked a bit embarrassed and told her to go on without him.

"When that didn't work she tried to get his number and because she was being quite obvious, one of the people standing around shouted, 'You still didn't get his number!' as she left."
