JIM CARREY is reportedly in negotiations to play THE DA VINCI CODE villain SILAS in the movie adaptation of DAN BROWN's bestselling novel.
Carrey is the frontrunner to join the cast of the much-anticipated RON HOWARD movie - to play Brown's albino monk, according to top movie gossip website AIN'T-IT-COOL-NEWS.COM.
TOM HANKS will star as symbolist ROBERT LANGDON in the project, while AMELIE star AUDREY TAUTOU and JEAN RENO have also been announced for roles in the thriller.
