MARIAH CAREY - CAREY: 'I DON'T NEED YES MEN'

MARIAH CAREY has vehemently blasted SIMON COWELL for claiming she needs an entourage around her to indulge her every whim.

Outspoken pop mogul Cowell slammed the HONEY singer for being surrounded by "yes men", but Carey, 35, insists she is more independent than people give her credit for.

She says, "Definitely not now. Maybe once. There are still people who want to have the big opinion, so they can say, 'I was the one who influenced Mariah to do this or that.'

"Maybe there are a few yes people, but I don't need that. I'd rather be on my own. I'd rather watch TV."
