LATEST: Rockers NINE INCH NAILS have sacked drummer ALEX CARAPETIS just two months after hiring him.
In October (05), it was announced that Carapetis had stepped in to replace JEROME DILLON on the band's US tour.
But he's now been relieved of his duties - and a spokesperson for the band's label is refusing to reveal what prompted his departure, reports MTV News.
Session drummer JOSH FREESE, known for his work with A PERFECT CIRCLE and THE VANDALS, has returned to the band - he performed with Nine Inch Nails for two gigs back in early October - and will fill in for the foreseeable future.
