Supermodel NAOMI CAMPBELL's meeting with former South African President NELSON MANDELA has been shrouded in secrecy amid fears her much-publicised assault charge could mar her charity efforts. The catwalk beauty was arrested last week (30MAR06) for allegedly throwing a mobile phone at her housekeeper, but a judge later released her on bail to support a United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) campaign. Charity spokeswoman ERIKA VEGTER confirmed Campbell's meeting with the anti-apartheid hero has happened, but no further details were given. Campbell's efforts in South Africa were supported by music mogul QUINCY JONES, who met Mandela on Monday (03MAR06). The musician and producer is scheduled to meet with young artists and musicians struggling with AIDS, crime, sexual violence and drug abuse.
