Westlife - Byrne Gets Rings Guarded

WESTLIFE star NICKY BYRNE and fiancee GEORGINA AHERN are so scared their wedding rings will be a target for thieves they've hired two security guards to protect them.

The happy couple are having a massive wedding ceremony in CHATEAU D'ESCLIMONT near Paris, France, following a legal ceremony in their native Ireland today (05AUG03) - but are anxious about the safety of their $224,000 (GBP140,000) rings.

However, two security men will now escort the rings all the way to the ceremony.

A source explains, "They're terrified they could get lost or stolen in transit."
