BUSTA RHYMES - BUSTA'S BIG BANG MAKES A NOISE AT THE TOP OF US CHARTS

Rapper BUSTA RHYMES has scored his first number one album in America after taking his new release, THE BIG BANG, to the top. The album, which also debuts atop the Hot R+B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts, sold 209,000 copies in its first week - Rhymes' best one-week total since E.L.E.: EXTINCTION LEVEL EVENT in 1998. Country trio the DIXIE CHICKS stay firm at number two on the new chart, but record a fourth week at the top of the US Country Albums chart with TAKING THE LONG WAY. Rockers AFI's DECEMBER UNDERGROUND, which debuted at the top last week (14JUN06), falls to number three. Meanwhile, THREE DAYS GRACE record their best-selling week with the release of ONE - X to debut at five.
