GWYNETH PALTROW - BROODY GWYNETH WANTS MARTIN'S KIDS

GWYNETH PALTROW and her rocker lover CHRIS MARTIN are taking a year out from their careers to start a family.

The SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE star has told pals she wants to reduce her work commitments so she and her COLDPLAY frontman fiance can concentrate on becoming parents.

In a bid to help things along, the clean-living actress has instructed her two macrobiotic chefs to give her diet a boost with the inclusion of extra vitamins to help her conceive faster.

A source tells British tabloid THE SUN, "Gwyneth is desperate for a baby with Chris and has decided to take a year off to prepare herself. She has told movie bosses she wants to keep her work to a minimum.

"Gwyneth has also asked her two chefs to add more vitamins into her diet to boost her fertility. And she is taking folic acid to safeguard the baby's health."

Gwyneth has been keeping a relatively low profile since her father BRUCE died last October (02), and even pulled out of her parts in I LOVE HUCKABEE'S and HAPPY ENDINGS saying it was too soon for her to return to work.

The source adds, "Although Chris has said they are not getting married, all Gwyneth talks about is settling down with him and starting a family. Some friends are worried because she talked about ex BRAD PITT in the same way, and that ended in tears.

"But Gwyneth is determined that this time she has got it right and found the man for her."

This week (begs11AUG03) the YELLOW singer heavily denied reports he was marrying his Hollywood sweetheart, although the couple are still very much an item.
