The non-profit group Global Language Monitor has placed "Brokeback" at the top of its Hollywood words and phrases list.
The new phrase, from Oscar-nominated BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, beat 'Brangelina' - the term given to ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT's romance - as the word of the year.
Also new to the fictional Tinseltown dictionary are 'Tomkat', the name given to TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES' partnership and 'Vaughniston', the moniker given to VINCE VAUGHN and JENNIFER ANISTON's romance.
Third on the list was 'Petronoia,' a phrase inspired by the film SYRIANA, meaning an irrational fear of the collapse of the oil industry, followed by global economic crisis.
