THE OC - BRODY'S CRAMPED LIVING CONDITIONS

THE OC star ADAM BRODY lived in such a tiny apartment when he first moved to Los Angeles he barely had space to eat.

The actor and a pal were initially excited when they found a home in Santa Monica to move into, but they quickly realised just how tough life could be in such a small space.

He recalls, "You've never, ever - and I'm not exaggerating - seen a smaller apartment. They don't exist, number one, because they'd probably be illegal.

"Number two, I lived with somebody so you couldn't have single beds. There wasn't enough room so we had bunk beds...

"We could only have room for one other chair, so we had to take turns eating because only one person could sit at a time and the other person had to be horizontal.

"I'm not exaggerating at all. It was the smallest apartment I've ever seen. There wasn't room for two."
