BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB are denying reports they're on the verge of splitting following a bust-up on tour.

The rock group were forced to play a show in Spain with a fan on drums when NICK JAGO walked out on the group following a spat with guitarist PETE HAYES.

Frontman ROBERT TURNER confirms the group is at work on a new album, despite the in-band problems, and he insists there are no immediate plans to find a new drummer.

In a posting on the group's website, Turner writes, "Nick might take some time off and even play drums in other groups here and there, but the doors always open for him to play with BRMC.

"We want to finish the album soon and get it out sometime early next year (05)."

The group are also looking for a new record label after splitting from VIRGIN in 2003.
