EUROVISION SONG CONTEST - BRITISH EUROVISION STARS ROBBED AT CEREMONY

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

LATEST: British EUROVISION SONG CONTEST entrants JEMINI have revealed that their dressing room was burgled during the event in which they finished last.

The Liverpudlian singers GEMMA ABBEY and CHRIS CROMBY faced huge embarrassment when they failed to score a single point at the annual ceremony.

And things went from bad to worse when they returned to their backstage quarters to discover it had been the target of thieves.

Manager ERIC MACKAY thinks that both their result in the contest and the robbery was a reaction to the British support of the recent war in Iraq.

He says, "It's an absolute mess. We came into this competition being told that it wouldn't be political but it is. It's pretty clear what the rest of Europe thinks of the UK after we supported the war in Iraq.
