Brando Secretary Sues Estate For Letters, Scripts + Damages
MARLON BRANDO's longtime personal secretary is suing the late movie icon's estate for promises her boss made to her that weren't kept.
ALICE MARCHAK is seeking access to personal letters and movie scripts as well as monetary damages for "promises and representations" made to her by Brando in his later years.
The suit, which was filed in Los Angeles yesterday (16NOV05) also claims Brando received $485,000 (GBP269,000) from a loan taken out on Marchak's property and never repaid it.
Marchak maintains she's also entitled to property Brando owned in the South Pacific.
Attorneys working on behalf of Brando's estate plan to fight Marchak's claims.
