BOY GEORGE - BOY GEORGE: 'I DESIGN MY OWN LABEL'

Flamboyant pop star BOY GEORGE insists he stands out from most celebrity fashion designers - because he actually creates his fashion line by hand.

The former CULTURE CLUB frontman spends hours in the studio designing and creating the clothes for his B-Rude line, rather than just taking the credit for a design team's hard work.

He says, "People might not think the clothes are handmade, but they are.

"I have tried to inject the designs with some humour, but some of it is quite wearable. I am inspired by punk, by ideas of rebellion.

"I hate the way camp vanity has been hijacked by straight men and that gay men are desperate to wear Hackett."
