CULTURE CLUB - BOY GEORGE ARRESTED IN NEW YORK

Singer-turned-DJ BOY GEORGE has been arrested in New York for making a false police report about a burglary.

The former CULTURE CLUB singer, 44, called police on Friday morning (07OCT05), claiming his Little Italy apartment had been robbed.

But when officers arrived on the scene they discovered no signs of a break-in, nothing missing and a small amount of cocaine.

The former drug addict, real name GEORGE O'DOWD, who was convicted for heroin possession in 1986, was then arrested and charged with falsifying a police report and drug possession.
