Rock icon BONO refuses to experiment with heroin, insisting it's ridiculous dabbling with a drug "that's bigger than you".

The U2 frontman has witnessed the destructive toll the deadly narcotic drug has taken on many of his friends, and he values his own existence too much to put it risk.

And the PRIDE (IN THE NAME OF LOVE) star condemns the thought process behind any human being who's arrogant enough to try it.

He says, "My mates got badly done in. So that's why I'm never gonna do it. You have to know when you're dealing with something that's bigger than you.

"Maybe you can do it once, maybe you can do it twice, maybe you can't. I don't know. But the arrogance of thinking that you can do it once is my worry with it."
