HELENA BONHAM CARTER - BONHAM CARTER AUDITIONS FOR ALL ROLES

Actress HELENA BONHAM CARTER has to audition for parts in TIM BURTON's movies, even though he is her longterm boyfriend.

The British actress has been dating the BIG FISH film-maker since they met on the set of PLANET OF THE APES in 2001 and they have a two-year-old son together.

And Bonham Carter has no problem with auditioning because she wants to earn the right to play a part, rather than land a role through nepotism.

She says, "You need to have an objectivity sometimes. Of course I have to be right for something otherwise it would be appalling just to get a part because I sleep with him."
