JAMES BLUNT - BLUNT 'LOVER' HITS BACK

English socialite TARA PALMER-TOMKINSON has hit back at allegations she caused JAMES BLUNT's recent split from his girlfriend, insisting the YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL singer "deceived" her. The BACK TO BEDLAM phenomenon split with blonde singer CAMILLA BOLER, 24, during a trans-Atlantic phone call last week (ends14APR06), after Palmer-Tomkinson openly admitted the fling. But Palmer-Tomkinson says Blunt insisted he was single at the time of their liaisons, telling her he had split from Boler late last year (05). She says, "I was never, ever, told by James Blunt that there was a girlfriend. One thing's for sure, I don't think I did anything wrong. I was deceived by this guy and that's it. James told me he had split up with her at Christmas. "I am certainly not the type of person who would tread on somebody else's toes. I completely disrespect women who do that to other women, I think it's disgusting, it's horrible to do that to another woman. I wouldn't do it. "I don't know who's lying but it's not me. But one thing's for sure - he may have a reputation as a bit of a Casanova but he's not."
