MARY J BLIGE is back on top of the American album charts thanks to impressive first-week sales of her sixth studio album LOVE + LIFE.
The album sold 286,000 copies to beat HILARY DUFF's METAMORPHOSIS to the top spot. Duff entered the charts in second place.
Elsewhere, dying rocker WARREN ZEVON's last album, THE WIND, sold 47,000 copies in its first week - 13,000 more than his last album MY RIDE'S HERE, sold in 18 months.
