Twice OSCAR-nominated BRENDA BLETHYN will take inspiration from FRANCES McDORMAND's unforgettable ACADEMY AWARD acceptance speech if she ever wins.

The British LITTLE VOICE actress admired the moment that McDormand, who collected the 1996 Best Actress award for her performance in FARGO, slammed Hollywood for not writing enough roles for older women.

McDormand is married to Fargo director JOEL COEN, who made the film with his brother ETHAN.

Blethyn, 59, recalls, "Frances McDormand, who won an Oscar for FARGO, made a beautiful speech about how the team became like family: one made an actress of her, one made a mother of her and one made a woman of her."
