Australian actress CATE BLANCHETT is gearing up to tread the boards in New York city's respected theatres.
The ELIZABETH star will join the SYDNEY THEATRE COMPANY (STC) in their production of HEDDA GABLER at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in March 2006.
Blanchett will star alongside MATRIX actor HUGO WEAVING.
